CAMPAIGN PRIORITIES

Improve trust in county services

1. Conduct quicker audits with shorter reports: Good audits take time, but often they can be done faster. I want to shorten the audit process, so we can improve as many services as possible. I also want to make audit reports shorter and more user-friendly.

2. Develop a county report card: It's difficult to know how government is doing. The public needs transparent information about the county's performance. I want to develop a report card so the public can see what has been audited, what the results were, and what recommendations are still outstanding.

3. Offer expert support and advice: Resources are tight, and county departments need support. Auditors are skilled professionals who can offer their expertise. I want to develop advisory services that county departments can request to get the help they need.
